Entry nº 17: Don`t disturb the dead

On a very small town in the countryside where very few people were living, the story of a ghost that wandered around in the nights scared the whole population. That is why they didn´t dare to go out after the sunset when the darkness covered the town.
There were a group of young friends that one day decided to challenge the mysterious ghost. They planned to go to the ghost`s lands and comfront it, so that they met at the cementery on a creepy dark night.
Once they jumped a wall and got into the cementery they were only lighted by some hand lanterns. After an hour of walking through the narrow paths of the cementery, they got quite calm because there were no signs of any ghost and they felt they were the only ones in there, then they decided to go back completely shure that the story of the ghost was only an adults´ invention to keep them at home during the night.
When they were almost half the way back among jockes and smiles, they started to hear a curlblooding whistle but when they kept silent in order to check whether they had heard it or imagined it, the only sound they heard was their own breathing, then a sudden horror took hold of them because even the sound of the doves and owls that habitated the cementery were not heard.
Almost instinctibly they started to walk faster and as they walked the whistle was closer to them but just a few meters before they could reach the main entrance, a shining image with the shape of a person appeared in front of them. Such was the frigh and terror they felt, that they run away in different directions.
At the next morning, when they were at school one of them was missed, they thought that he was still scared and stayed at home. After school they were to his home but he had never come back so they told his mother what had happened the night before. The whole town started looking for him, the young boy was founded dead in the cementery completely rigid with his hair white and a terrorific expression on his face in the same place where the ghost had appeared.
