Entry nº 15 : Wrong decisions

Denise was a nineteen year old girl who fel in love with a boy who seemed to be a good boy and seemed to shared the same feelings for her, but when the problems came he got completely scared and let her down.
While they were a happy couple deeply in love with each other that was a love story as many others, but from the moment Denise got pregnant it became a drama, a common drama also for many young couples nowadays.
When Denise started to suspect that she could be pregnant she told her boy friend Jeremy, he reacted with certain uncertainty but ended by agreeing with the idea of becoming a young father despite the problem of not having a salary to support a family or even the future baby. Denise was worried about her mother`s reaction but she was shure she would keep her baby.
As days passed she became more and more worried about the situation. Two days after the test comfirmed her pregnancy she couldn`t hide it any longer and decided to tell her mother although she and Jeremy had agreed that this notice would be communicated by both together to their respectives parents.
Her mother got really angry and disappointed and she resolved to wait for Jeremy to talk and decide what they were going to do. When he was asked what he would do, he got scared and said he was not shure of being able of handle the situation because he was studing yet and his father was about to be fired from his job.
Once Jeremy communicated the notice to his mother she refused to take charge of fostering the baby so after this Denise`s mother took a decition. She told Denise that if Jeremy did not respond for the baby and her, she would have to choose between raising the baby with her mother`s help and never letting Jeremy have any contact with the baby or having an abortion.
Full of worries because of her mother`s brainwashing talks and feeling dissapointed and abandoned by Jeremy she took the wrong decision, not to have the baby and then she splited up with Jeremy.
But after a few months of confusion and chaos in her mind the great sadness of her heart and the emptiness of her soul, together with the feeling of guilt for having killed her own baby exploted in a crisis of depression and she tried to commit suicide. Her parents put her in a rehabilitation institute for mental problems.
